Beach Beauties

These kids are the firecrackers to my 4th of July.

I can't believe how fast their little lives are progressing.
The things they say.
Their beautiful hearts.
::sigh::

I love them.
This has been the summer that they became best friends.

They love each other so much.
Consider the other when she is absent.
Console each other.
Work things out.
I  love to watch them together.

I love being their mom.

Cuzzies

These 3 just fell right into their vacation together like it hadn't even been 6 months since they saw each other.
Oh.
Cousin love.
It makes me swoon.

How super fun for them to be the little gaggle of girls of the family
and pretty much be the same age.
Guh.
They are just all so cute together.
Like the 3 musketeers.
Only cuter and less facial hair.

Of course they are almost even more powerful when they are together,
since they form this sort of familial support team.
They totally had each others' backs.
For the most part.

And if things got a little too heated?
We'd just throw them in the pool.

Because, seriously, cooling off calms you down.

They had so much fun together that I can't wait to get them back together again.
I love watching them make memories together.
Childhood memories that are steeped in all the glory of new imaginations.

And I hope they still all want to sleep together in the same room until they are like, 25.

Of course I have lots more pictures to share.
See ya tomorrow!

I Love Birthdays

Funny thing is, as people get older, people don't rent them ponies for their birthday anymore.
What a let down.
But I am a celebrater of birthdays. I LOVE birthdays.
Even when they aren't my own.

Last weekend was a very good friend of mine's birthday.
Doesn't she look lovely in the birthday dress I gave her?
(I found it at a KILLER garage sale.)
((For a dollar.))
It couldn't have looked more lovely on her.
Like it was made for her.
Of course she loved it.

I also enjoy making birthday confections.
Cat loves brownies. And cream cheese. And chocolate.
So clearly, she loved these little bite size birthday noms.

Make a wish!

Did you get them all?

Yeah you did, girl.
Hope they ALL come true!

Same garage sale? I scored the tiered plate. For 2 dollars.
Indeed. It was a really good sale.

Happy Birthday Kitty Cat!

Little Ladies

The sweetest moments seem to happen between these two.

Like, literally I swoon overhearing their conversations. Even though sometimes they are all conflict and hair pulling, a lot of times they are loving and encouraging and super positive with each other.

Sometimes for stretches as long as 3 minutes.

Ha.

We had our first visit to H&M and oh man am I now in love with a new store! These cute little dresses the girls are wearing were freaking $4.95 a piece.

I know, right? That was normal price.

So, Target AND Old NAvy have some stiff competition for my dollars now.

H&M rules!

Pure Happy

Oh, to be so young and so wild and so in love with EVERYTHING. If they could do this every day they would.

So last week I could barely even be bothered by technology with 3 toddlers in the house. We had SO MUCH FUN with cousin Rachel that we are still recovering from it all. Madee has been waiting and waiting and waiting (maybe I told her about it too early?) for her cousin Rachel to come visit her house and boy was it just the best vacation ever. Only for us it was a stay-cation so even better.

We ran and played and shopped and ate and didn't do a lot of napping, because it was go-go-go all the days long and into the nights.

But there is this:

and this...

They grew together during this visit. They banded together, loved each other hard, shared and giggled and laughed and learned together.

And we watched as they turned from "our kids" to "each other's cousin and possibly BESTEST FWEND."

They know they belong together, that they are connected. That they are family.

And it was a beautiful thing to behold. So natural, so sweet, so pure.

I really hope they always have that together. How lucky for their little hearts.
