Hair Color Before and Afters

In case yall were wondering where my "me time" went this week.

I was actually starting to like the blonde, as I usually do when it is growing out. Call me weird, I like my blonde with a little bit of roots grown in.

I don't think I have ever told my hairdresser (also my BFF) to do the same thing as last time.

Nope.
Not once.

Eden is a hugger. A HARD hugger. An arms so tight around your neck hugger.
It feels so good to be on the receiving end of that.
You have no idea.

Also? This kid LOVES salad.
She will ALWAYS eat the salad portion of her dinner, loves a whole plate full of salad, walks off with your salad while you are not looking - she may be a bit obsessed.


And while speaking of Eden, I must also tell you some REALLY cute things she does lately.
She points her little finger and yells ALOT.
She points her little finger and says "I seeyum I seeyum I seeyum!" whenever she sees anything that anyone may be looking for.

It's kinda her thing right now.

Also? She is quite proud of her jumping skills, and boy let me tell you, she bends down REAL LOW and jumps up up so hard her hands fly over her smiling little head.

She is everything joyous and beauteous and funny.

We Love the Beach

Even when it is dang fool cold.

Seriously. This one insists on wearing her bathing suit in February. Like a Canadian.

The beach is more fun every time we go. At this age, for both of them? The beach is just perfect. They walk with me. We find things. We learn things.

We met a little girl who found 3 starfish.

We watch the surfers.

We play.

We let the wind through our hair and the sand through our fingers.

We count how many jellyfish bigger than our heads we find washed up on the beach.

We make plans for the future.

We daydream.

We bask in the love that has brought us all together.

You know, if you drop some different shaped pasta into some different colored food color dyes, you get more stuff to glue onto things.

And we? Are BIG on glue around here.

Garden Update

Looky!
Little bitty sprouty nubs of brussel-y goodness!
They are SO TINY!
I have had my eye out for some sign of growing, and I am so excited for them to get big and strong and delicious!


And though I have seen NO SIGN of nary a berry, these strawberry plants are so lush and gorgeous.

And my fave is the way the water beads up on them after a good dousing.

Like a little water tiara. Beautiful!


Seriously, this garden is so satisfying in so many ways beyond eating food.
Feast for the eyes, enh?

And this is a surprise. I was pulling weeds and cleaning up leaves when I saw this growing around my Dill Tree.

Can anybody ID this one for me before I decide it is a weed? It looks like parsley?
