Everything Needs Love to Grow

I bought these a week ago and stick them in the garden. Let's see how much love I have to give.

Too Busy for Words

But not too busy to share the pictures...

Ummm, WHUT?

I happened upon this scene the other day in a quaint little row of birdhouses that the kids use as a "dollhouse backdrop" for teeny figurines.

First of all, do you see the play-do in the church? Madee shoved it in there and now I can't get it out. But of course I was more disturbed by Ernie.

Which of my mafia kids decided that this was his time to go?

And pushed from the bell tower of a church? That's DRAMA, folks.

Ariel view from pretend helicopters on the scene.

You need not worry, Ernie was rescued and taken directly to a small medical camp that was set up for emergencies, since we don't have a hospital birdhouse yet.

Tweet Up Photo Shoot

If you know me, you will know that I start every other sentence with, "My friend on the twitters," or, "I found out on the twitters that..." and lots of times, you might even roll your eyes like maybe they aren't even real friends...

like I am some washed up middle aged dude who games in his basement with people in Greenland (not that there is anything wrong with that)...

and that maybe imaginary "tweeple" @japster24 and @Lins610 are creepy serial killers or worse (if worse is possible.)

But CHECK THEM OUT!

No, seriously, CHECK THEM OUT - here is their blog, Waking Up Williams.

They dragged me out into the woods where no one could hear me scream, and I wasn't scared for a minute because they are SO STINKING CUTE!

Click the photo to see the rest of the sesh!

Twitter friends are real people, yall, they just aren't always your neighbors, but these 3? I super wish they were mine!

Little Lady Tea Party and Pumpkin Painting

Our little friend Ava came over the other day, so Madee and I set up a little backyard tea party, while Eden finished her nap.

The girls loved pouring tea. I even got out my "good china" but I think I will start collecting a special set from garage sales and thrift stores to pull out for tea parties in the future, cuz mine is decidedly boring.

A little gossip over the tea cakes.

"That girl from Mama and Me did wha...?"

Welcome to my tea party! Bunny is already here!

And when Tea Party had lost its newness, we busted out little white pumpkins and finger paints!

Yummy!

I think you missed a spot, E.

What is this stuff?

It was fun for Mommies AND kiddos!

We had a great time welcoming fall with new decorations and themes for fun!
What kind of crafts have you been doing to get the kiddos into Fall?

16 months

16 months old today. Only half a month away from how old Madee was when she got here.
And now? They are the thickest of thieves, the worstest of frenemies, the bestest of friends.

I read somewhere yesterday that having a sister makes you a happier person in the long run.

I certainly hope so.

Go ahead. Poke that little Buddha belly. Nobody's gonna stop you.

She amazes me daily with the things she says.

I ga poo poo
whur daddy go?
nice kiggy.
hey buddy.
lubboo sistcher
diego
dora
clap clap clap
meeeeeoooooooow
hi POP POP
byyy-eeee
p(l)ay-do
shoes (she is obsessed with shoes!)
schwing
s(l)ide
pweeeze?

And I love how she kisses anything she loves - sister, kitty, mama, daddy, any toy she just found.

This kid will break out in laughter that a dead man would laugh at. She is beyond funny, super sweet and cuddly, and taking over the world.

She will also throw tantrums that will blow your mind for any object she wants but does not have access to.

16 months. Going on ALL GROWED UP.
I almost can't handle it.
